Why You’re Wondering What God Thinks of You

Here’s the thing. They’re not lying to you for funsies.

They’re lying to you so they can steal your identity. They want to steal your identity so they can control you. And they want to control you because they feel threatened by who you truly are.

So really, they’re lying, thieving, controlling liars who are lying to you.

I may sound harsh. But, girl, I’m telling you the straight-up, gospel truth. And you need to hear it before those lying, thieving, controlling liars steal one more shred of your identity from you.

All who came before me were thieves and robbers. But the true sheep did not listen to them…The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

John 10:8, 10 (NLT)

Be warned: You can’t trust what a lying, thieving, controlling liar says to or about you.

This is why if what they say doesn’t line up with what God says, don’t believe a word that comes out of their mouth.

Where to Find Proof You’re Looking For

The truth is, God loves you.

More than anyone ever has or ever will—God loves you.

Even when you’re feeling unworthy, think you’re not good enough for the people in your life, and you’re wondering if God still loves you…He does.

He never thinks you’re unworthy, unloveable, or inadequate. Plus, He’s loved you unconditionally this whole time when others haven’t.

God loves you beyond measure and couldn’t stand the thought of your sin separating you from Him for eternity. But His holiness couldn’t live with you near Him in a state of sin. Otherwise, you’d be toast before you knew what was happening.

So the Father sent Jesus Christ, His Son, to wipe out the debt you owed for your sins. Because of this, you don’t have to spend eternity paying for it yourself. And all you had to do in return was acknowledge Jesus’ crucifixion, death, and resurrection, and confess Him as your Saviour.

Jesus died from love for you. He paid for your eternal security with His life is the purest, truest act of love ever.

No one in the world will ever love you more than this. No one.

So the first place to look for proof of what God thinks of you is at the cross of Jesus.

You see, you’re worth the life of the King of the universe, which means you’re priceless. And don’t let anybody tell you different. Shut them down quick and fast if they try.

For it was you who created my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wondrously made. Your works are wondrous, and I know this very well.

As for all the sinning you’ve done. The moment you were saved, God stopped seeing it. He looks at you through the lens of Jesus’ shed blood. This means He sees you as one hundred percent righteous.

He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (CSB)

This doesn’t mean God is OK with your continued willful sinning. But it does mean His grace is sufficient in your weakness.

This article has given me a new perspective on myself. The more you let that thief tell you how rotten you are, the more you believe it…..BUT of course that isn’t our Heavenly Father talking to us!!! How could it be?!?!?! Thank you so much for lifting me up and opening my eyes. Got to get in the Word more deeply and search out these verses for myself. Got to pray over these verses. He gave me His only beloved, begotten Son! Once again, thank you! God bless you and this mission you are on!
