Hi! I’m Kris, and I’ve been in your shoes.
After years of feeling trapped in misery at work and at home, I couldn’t see how to move forward and feel better. I poured it all out in my secret prayer journals, begging God to tell me what to do. But He seemed silent and I felt unheard, unnoticed, and unloved.
Then I lost my high-paying executive job and 5 months later, my fiance threw out a break-up ultimatum. The words had barely left his lips when, in the next instant, I heard God say He was giving me a chance to be free of everything keeping me stuck. God showed me that when I didn’t have the courage to break out of my self-made chains, He loved me enough to extend His hand of freedom. I grabbed it and haven’t let go since.
My life isn’t perfect and I don’t always know how things will work out. But I find joy, freedom, and growing faith in choosing to take each new step anyway.
