Make your request then sit in silence and listen.
Even if He doesn’t answer immediately, He will answer. He loves you so He hears you, and He answers, always.
But God did listen! He paid attention to my prayer. Praise God, who did not ignore my prayer or withdraw his unfailing love from me.

Leave a comment…Do you need to be loud or silent in your morning devotion when singing praise’s and worships?
God doesn’t care how loud you are 🙂 You may want to think about your neighbors, though (Romans 12:18).
Was looking for blogs in my niche and came across your post. Love how God will use people to get me to see a different perspective on something. Never considered John 15:7 as a verse for hearing from Him, always looked at it, just spending time with Him, but I see how they go hand and hand. Opened up gave me way more insight and a different way of hearing from Him. I’ve never heard him though sitting in silence, would love to learn more of that, it could be because I’m too impatient so He finds other ways to get my attention. So I’m going to practice that. Thank you for sharing.
I’m so glad you found this list of signs God is speaking to you useful! (Btw, I didn’t quote John 15:7 here at all, so I think you misread something somewhere :)) Yes, most people find sitting quietly and listening difficult AT ALL, much less doing it as a way of tuning in to hear God. But if you overcome your discomfort with it and tune your ears to Him, you’ll pick up on all sorts of wonderful things.
Hey Kris,
This is what’s in your blogpost:
Where Do You Live?
If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.
John 15:7 (AMPC)
Thats what I was referring to……I’m actually glad I came across this, every since I read it on your blog, I’ve been in the Word more and as a result, He has been quicker to answer prayers.
I’m so happy for you!
